Laura is an Irish Director of Photography based between London and Dublin. She’s a member of Illuminatrix Rising, BAFTA Connect, the International Collective of Female Cinematographers (ICFC), and Women Behind The Camera. She is also a participant of the BSC Mentee Scheme 2025.

Laura holds both US and Irish passports. Born in the United States and raised across Nigeria, Indonesia, Australia, and the UK, 
 
Before pursuing filmmaking, Laura worked in action sports and was a certified ski instructor. Her passion for visual storytelling developed, and in 2015, she attended the London Film School, specialising in cinematography. Since then, she has worked on projects across the world, in narrative, fashion, documentary and commercials.
 
She was nominated for the Bingham Ray New Talent Award at Galway Film Fleadh 2025. Her work has been screened at a wide range of prestigious film festivals, including BFI London Film Festival, Aesthetica Film Festival, and the British Short Film Awards.

Beyond filmmaking, she is also a fully qualified outdoor instructor, covering paddle sport, rock climbing, Bushcraft, Lowland Leader, First Aid, National Water Safety Management and Beach Lifeguard.
